What Actually Happens When You’re in Love?; From 500 Days of Summer

500 Days of Summer memang film (cukup) lawas, dan akibat dari sering diperdebatkannya film ini oleh saya dan salah seorang lawan bicara, I try to understand (again) bagian mana sih yang menarik dari film 500 Days of Summer? So I watched it skippy, while I was typing something random in my mind. And I found this insane conversation that definitely… me? I mean, I was like, what Tom has been questioning to Summer. “What actually happens when you fall in love?”

So, scene-nya kira-kira seperti ini: Sebelum bertemu Summer, Tom tidak terlalu peduli dengan apa yang dinamakan cinta. Ia bahkan hampir tak percaya bahwa ia bisa jatuh cinta.

Tom Hansen: What happens if you fall in love? Summer Finn: Well, you don’t believe that, do you? Tom Hansen: It’s love. It’s not Santa Claus.

Love? I have ever been in some relationship (most of them are failed) but I (still) don’t know how to explain what love is, was I (really) in love or something, how did I have to react to them when they said, like, do you love me too? It was like I didn’t have any choice except said ‘yes’ though I don’t know what is the clear explanation about love.

Brb, googling, perhaps I need adding new tab on my Chrome… as everytime I asked myself what definitely the meaning of love is. Trust me, I do this almost 50 times, but I still couldn’t get it. Haha.
